Welcome to Bistro Springhouse. By booking or participating in any Bistro Springhouse event, class, or experience (“Event”), you agree to the following Terms of Service.

1. Overview of Services

Bistro Springhouse provides mobile, hands-on culinary workshops and tasting experiences hosted in private homes, community spaces, and partner venues. Events may involve food preparation, cooking equipment, and shared dining.

2. Booking & Payment
  • All bookings are processed via Stripe and must be paid in full to reserve your spot.
  • Pricing varies by event and is listed at the time of booking.
  • A booking is confirmed once payment is successfully completed.
3. Participant Requirements
  • Events may include adults and children, depending on the listing.
  • A responsible adult must accompany all participants under 16.
  • By booking, you confirm that all participants are physically able to safely engage in a hands-on cooking environment.
4. Minimum & Maximum Group Size
  • Events may require a minimum number of participants to proceed.
  • Maximum group sizes are enforced to maintain a safe and high-quality experience.
  • Bistro Springhouse reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events that do not meet minimum attendance.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
  • Cancellations made 48 hours in advance may receive a full or partial refund or credit.
  • Cancellations made within this window may be non-refundable.
  • If Bistro Springhouse cancels an event, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
6. Allergies & Dietary Restrictions
  • Participants must disclose all allergies and dietary restrictions at the time of booking.
  • While we strive to accommodate needs, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment due to shared kitchens and equipment.
7. Assumption of Risk

Participation in cooking activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to cuts, burns, slips, and allergic reactions. By attending, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.

8. Waiver & Release of Liability

By completing your booking, you agree to the Bistro Springhouse Waiver and Release of Liability. This includes releasing Bistro Springhouse, its owner, instructors, and host venues from claims related to injury, illness, or damages arising from participation.

9. Conduct & Safety
  • Participants are expected to follow all instructions provided during the Event.
  • Unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the Event without refund.
10. Photography & Media

Bistro Springhouse may capture photos or videos during Events for marketing purposes.
By attending, you grant permission for your image to be used unless you notify us in advance.

11. Host Venue Disclaimer

Events may take place in third-party or private locations. Bistro Springhouse is not responsible for conditions outside its control, including but not limited to facility issues or property damage not caused by its team.

12. Changes to Events

We reserve the right to modify menus, locations, or event details as needed due to availability, seasonality, or unforeseen circumstances.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bistro Springhouse shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in any Event.

14. Governing Law

Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
